Drink it now or hold it for up to 3 years. No need to decant it. Serve it chilled. Located in the village of Berbuki in the Kartli wine region of east-central Georgia, Agidela Winery was founded by winemakers Lasha Chkuaseli and Eli Tsiskarishvili to produce fine wines from indigenous and international grapes. The company purchases the majority of its grapes from local winemakers but has recently purchased a vineyard which is expected to come into production in 2025. Since its founding, the company has rapidly grown and in 2023 began production of Pet Nat sparkling wine. This delicious bubbly is made from a blend of Moscato Bianco, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Ugni Blanc. The grapes are sourced from the areas of Kartli, Mtskheta, and Jighaura. Pet Nat from the Agidela winery has a brilliant color with straw yellow tones and a fine and delicate perlage. On the nose, it reveals an aromatic character and intense aromas of kiwi, melon, and other tropical fruits, white flowers, and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, light and delicate. It has a balanced and well-integrated acid streak. The finish is delicate and recalls notes of sweet fruit. It is ideal as a summer aperitif, but it is also quite versatile in pairings with food. It goes well with vegetarian recipes, fish and seafood starters.
